Fermented Carrots

Introduction

These are super quick and easy and popular with the kids.

Getting Started: Tools, Ingredients, and Method

  • Brine + Veg method (2% salinity)

  • Cut carrots into similar sized sticks

  • Fresh unchopped dill on bottom (carrots will weight down)

  • Used pickle pipe and glass weight

  • No floatie trapper necessary

  • Ferment 3-5 days to taste
